Terms Of Service

These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”) and SassyTigerSuits ("Me", "I")

The following terms are subject to change without notice. Updated as of Jan 1st, 2023

Communication

  • You may contact me through Discord (Arashi#2048) Telegram (@sassytigerdame) twitter (@sassytigersuits) or email (sassytigersuits@gmail.com)

  • I will provide you with regular updates on your commissions progress. This can be done through photos and writing. If you notice something that doesn't match the desired design, you may swiftly notify me and have me change it. This should be done as soon as possible, so that the faulty portion can be easily fixed. Any errors that are shown in photos and requested to be edited after initial shipping will require you to pay the return shipping fee, as well an additional fee for the unexpected extra work.

  • Communication will remain professional. Any undesired discussion that is not relevant to the commission and your fursuit will be decidedly ignored, or otherwise avoided.

  • If you are going to be unable to contact me for an extended period of time, (10 days or more) please notify me in some way beforehand. I understand that life happens sometimes, but please do not ghost me.

  • Failure to notify me of a 10+ day lapse of contact will result in your commission being put on hold, regardless of deadlines. I will not continue to work on a product without knowing if the progress being made is approved.

Fursuit and Plush

  • For bodysuits a Duct Tape Dummy is required, if necessary I can provide a tutorial on how to make one. You will be responsible for shipping it to me and paying for said shipping.

  • For other parts measurements are required, I will let you know what measurements I need depending on what parts you are getting.

  • Clear ref sheets are preferred. (being full body, multiple views, no shading) if one is not provided, sketches can be drawn up to ensure there is no miscommunication about patterning, but this may come with an additional charge depending on how complicated the design and sketches are.  Once the sketches are approved, I am not responsible for any details or markings being inaccurate to the design if they are accurate to the sketches.

  • Artistic Liberty designs are welcome but subject to additional charges as well due to the time put into both designing and drawing the reference. If you do not end up wanting a suit made, but still want the design I made you will be charged accordingly, otherwise the price of the art will be worked into the total quote for the suit.

  • Specific materials, colors, or otherwise hard to acquire materials may incur additional charges.

  • If you cancel the commission the suit or parts will be put up for sale as a premade or otherwise used as I see fit depending on completion.

  • In the case of cancellations, the refund will depend on how much has already been completed. I may retain a certain amount of the upfront payment based upon the prices of the items that have already been completed.

  • I will not alter the visual design of any suit or plush after the commission has been completed. Make sure that the reference you provide is what you will want the finished product to look like.

  • If you fail to point out a design flaw in the suit that was clearly visible in any of the update photos (of which there will be several), and then request this flaw to be fixed after receiving the product, you will likely be required to pay an additional fee for the requested alterations.

Payment and Shipping

  • Invoices will be sent through Square.

  • Payment plans are doable on a case by case basis, I'm willing to work with you however the full payment must be completed before the suit is finished and shipped. I will not start work until at least the first payment is complete.

  • If payment is not provided within two months of scheduled payments, and if there is no contact within that two-month period (That was not discussed) the suit or parts will be put up for sale as a premade or otherwise used as I see fit depending on completion. Unexplained loss of contact combined with neglect to provide full payment will result in you losing the suit.

  • Full payment must be provided before shipping.

  • You must pay for initial shipping.

  •  You may return the suit after the initial shipping (up to 90 days afterwards) in order for technical modifications (damages, incorrect fitting, etc; not visual designs) to be made free of charge. If the suit was damaged due to any fault of my own, you will pay for return shipping, and I will pay for the shipping back to you. If the suit was damaged due to improper use, storage, or washing, due to it being loaned to a third party, or during attempted alterations by anyone other than me, the repairs will come with a cost. If the suit was damaged or inadequate due to any fault of my own, such as poor sewing, weak connections, improper visual appearance that was pointed out before shipping, etc., the repairs will come free of charge.

  • I am not responsible for lost packages in shipping.

Deadlines

  • If you have a deadline that you would like me to work with, let me know when you first ask to commission me. This way I can tell you whether I'll be able to finish in time, or whether you should look elsewhere for a commission. Fursuits have a minimum deadline of 6 weeks, Plushies have a minimum of 1 month. This is subject to change and will be discussed further upon commission.

  • I will accept discussion of deadlines that are established after I begin work on your fursuit, but I am not required to accept. If you do not tell me when first discussing the commission, I may not have time or availability to finish it by your deadline.

  • Deadlines may increase the price of your commission, especially if added on after price has been discussed and/or work has been started.

Resale

  • Credit must be given to me (The original creator) if you wish to resell any of my products. This includes plushies and suit parts. This still applies if you have made modifications to said products.

  • Unless there have been noticeable modifications made to the product, enough to be noticeable at a glance, you are not allowed to sell it for more than you were originally charged.

Additional Information

  • Allergen info: There are cats in my house, they are not allowed in the areas that I work in, but that doesn't mean that there isn't pet dander and other things that may be on suit parts or plushies.

  • I will not work with minors without parental permission and communication. I'm willing to make suits, parts, or plushies for minors but require communication with a parent or guardian during the commission process.

  • The majority of my plushies and suit parts (apart from heads) are machine washable, but instructions will vary depending on design and material. I will explain to you what to do for cleaning. I am not responsible for any damage caused by improper care.

  • I reserve the right to refuse a commission for any reason.

  • I also reserve the right to post photos I have taken, both WIP and finished product photos on social media or otherwise advertise with them.
